“Dr. Young`s staff and hospital stays were excellent experiences, but I am bias and cannot praise Dr.Young and the outpatient therapy staff enough. I had procrastinated for years adjusting to the pain, always having an excuse to put surgery off- as it gradually worsened. Finally in April 2008 our children took my husband and I on a 7 day cruise for our 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone had a fun time but me. I could not join in on all the activities and tourist things without being in a lot of pain. On return they all insisted I do something about it. I made an appointment with Dr. Young and tests showed both knees were bad and replacement was needed. In June 2008 the most damaged was replaced. After rehab and outpatient therapy I was more than willing to do the second knee, which I did in November 2008 just 4 months after first with the surgery and had the same excellent results. I’ve since had both shoulders replaced with the same great care and outcome. I cannot praise the doctor enough and recommend him to anyone I meet with similar problems, “don’t wait just don’t.” I am 73 years old and can shop till I drop and go up and down stairs without pain. I have also been on another cruise and it was a wonderful pain free experience!”
