Dr. Dale A. Whitaker
Dr. Whitaker is a Jacksonville native who attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate studies. His medical school training was at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. He then returned to Jacksonville to complete his internship in general surgery and his orthopaedic residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Whitaker is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the Baptist Center for Joint Replacement at the Baptist Beaches Hospital. Outside of working, Dr. Whitaker devotes his free time to family activities and endeavors.
Certification
Dr. Whitaker achieved board certification in orthopedic surgery in 1992 and has undergone a recertification process in 2002 and again in 2011. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons since 1994.
